November 2020 Updates

These are the latest updates released for the Life Events Diary during November 2020.  All churches using the Life Events Diary have received these updates automatically.

Statistics

LED StatisticsWith the new statistics widget on the Dashboard you will now instantly be able to see how many Life Events services your church has held so far this year. There is also a handy comparison tool to see how this compares with previous years.

For Benefices and Deaneries, there is an option to drill down to see the statistics for a specific church.

We've also added a detailed statistics page where you can also download the data as a CSV making it great for reporting.

Enquiry Forms

Date of Wedding enquiry formBy embedding the enquiry forms on your church website, people can fill in the forms directly on your site with the information instantly accessible within your Life Events Diary account. We've now added the functionality for Wedding couples to select a specific date for their Wedding. They still have the previous option of selecting a date range if they do not have a preferred date for their Wedding yet.

FinderThe Life Events tab within People

Finder is a great tool to create custom searches on your Life Events Diary. We've now added functionality to increase the length of time you can search on your services so you can now search for people Married or Baptised in the previous 2 - 3 years.

Minor updates

We've moved the 'Estimated number of guests' for baptisms to be the first field shown on the form, aligning it with the Wedding and Funeral services.

Privacy Notice - if you have not entered a Privacy Notice then a warning bar appears when you login to the Life Events Diary with a link so you can easily add your Privacy Notice.

When viewing the People module, you will now be able to access any Life Events services that the person has been involved with from their profile. Just open the Life Events accordion and click the view icon next to the service.
