Logging in
When our TCO account was set up, an email should have been received containing a link to the log in screen for our account. Each account has it’s own, unique web address for accessing their log in page.
Clicking the link will bring us to the log in screen where we can enter our username, which is usually our email address, and our password.
The Dashboard
The first page we will see, when we log in, is the Dashboard. From the Dashboard, we are able to access all areas of The Church Organiser, using the icons at the top of the page, as well as being able to add new events, get an overview of what events we have coming up, search for people and check any enquiries that people have sent, using the embeddable Enquiry forms.
The buttons at the top of the Dashboard, give us a quick, easy way to add new events to our diary. We can also use Print & Export to export details of those involved in services, to a spreadsheet file. We can also obtain the code to embed the various forms that are available.
Upcoming Services
Under Upcoming Services, we will see details of any services that have been added through the LED. Clicking on any of the services will allow us to see, and edit, the details of the service.
Services which are to be confirmed
Under Services which are to be confirmed, we will see any services that don’t currently have a confirmed date and time added.
Once we have confirmed the date and time for the service, we can click on the service to update the details.
Calendar & Announcements
The Calendar allows us to see, at a glance, which days of the month have events booked. Each day that has an event booked will be highlighted with a blue circle, the more events happening on a particular day, the darker blue the circle will be. We can see which events are happening by clicking the day, a list of events will appear below the calendar. Clicking the name of any of the events will allow us to see and edit the details of the event.
Announcements will keep us up to date with changes and updates to the The Church Organiser.
People
Under People we can search for people by first name or surname, and quickly see any events they are associated with, by clicking their name. Clicking the name of the event will take us through to be able to see, and edit, the details of the event.
Enquiries
Enquiries will allow us to see any LED Enquiry Forms that have been completed. Enquiry Forms can be embedded on our website and, when a form is completed and submitted, we will be able to see it under Enquiries. Clicking the view icon, next to the form, will show us the details that have been completed and give us the option to Accept or Reject the enquiry. Accepting the enquiry will, automatically add an event to the LED, which we can then update as necessary. Rejecting the enquiry will remove it from the LED.
Statistics
The Statistics area allows us to see statistics relating to the number of each service we have in the Life Events Diary, for this year, or across multiple years.
The statistics for the current year can be filtered by location, using the All Churches dropdown.
The statistics for multiple years can be filtered by service type, using the All Services dropdown.
We can also click the View full statistics button, to see a breakdown of the number of services by year. This can also be filtered by location, and you have the option to download the statistics to a CSV file.
